Trinity Methodist Church - 1960 - El Paso, Texas

This old two-story house was turned into the church office holds many fond memories for those who worked in the house. Jazz Johnson, as church secretary, and Gilbert Johnson, as accounting manager, were upstairs and they kept track of everything that happened at the church. This would be torn down to provide more space for parking and the new religious educational building.

Hello Dawn, it is so neat to hear from a descendant of an El Paso mover and shaker. I recall the Sam Youngs, the Harveys, and Mr. Price. They indeed helped a blooming El Paso to becoming a fine emerging city.

Hi, it was great to see a photo of my grandfather among the El Paso National Bank board of directors on your webpage. Can you correct his name on both the photo caption & the paragraph to the right of the photo please? His name was Elward M. Kelley, not Edward. And Kelley is with two e's. It was so gratifyinig to see his photo on your webpage as he was a mover and shaker in El Paso during the 40s, 50s and 60s. Thank you, Dawn Kelley
