Retrato de dos Mujeres

La imagen captura a dos mujeres, ambas usan sombreros con flores y hermosos vestidos blancos. Probablemente las fechas son de alrededor de 1900. Este tipo de tarjeta se llamaba tarjeta de gabinete. Introducidas por primera vez en la década de 1860. Las fotografías de tarjetas de gabinete eran similares a cartes-de-visites, sólo que más grandes. Midiendo aproximadamente cuatro pulgadas (10.16 cm) por seis pulgadas (15.24 cm) y montadas sobre cartulina (similar al cartón), las fotografías de tarjeta de gabinete consiguieron su nombre por su tamaño, eran apenas del tamaño correcto para ser mostradas en un gabinete. Llegaron a su punto de popularidad en la década de 1870 hasta la década de 1890. Muchas tarjetas de gabinete contaron con el nombre y la ubicación del fotógrafo impresos en la parte delantera de la tarjeta debajo de la imagen. Algunas tienen marcas lujosas detrás para la publicidad del fotógrafo (esta tendencia creció hacia el final del siglo cuando la publicidad se volvió común).
