Bernice Wiggins - El Paso, Texas
Bernice Love Wiggins fue una poeta durante la época de Renacimiento en Harlem. Por la muerte de su madre cuando tenía 5 años, ella vino a El Paso en 1903 para vivir con su tía. Bernice asistió a la Preparatoria Douglass y fue motivada por sus maestros a perseguir su talento de escrito. Murió en el año 1936. Ella independientemente público su libro “Tuneful Tales” primero en 1925. El segundo impreso de su libro en 2002 llevo mucho éxito.
