La imagen muestra el gabinete provisional que Francisco I. Madero estableció después de la victoria de los revolucionarios en la batalla de Juárez en mayo de 1911 y de la renuncia de Porfirio Díaz como presidente de México. Entre los miembros estaban su hermano Gustavo A. Madero como ministro de finanzas y Venustiano Carranza como ministro de guerra (más tarde el presidente de México). Francisco I. Madero nombro a Francisco León de la Barra, uno de los partidarios de Díaz, presidente interino, hasta que se convirtió en presidente debidamente elegido en noviembre de 1911. La ciudad capturada de Juárez se convirtió en capital provisional.
