El vestido de la novia está muy bien decorado con encajes. La foto fue tomada en 1952 por el estudio de la fotografía Casasola. Alfonso Casasola, miembro de una conocida familia de fotógrafos mexicanos, llegó a El Paso en la década de 1920 después de varios años en el servicio consular mexicana. Él estableció el Casasola Studio (también conocido por su nombre en español, Estudio Casasola) en 511 S. El Paso Street y era activo en muchas organizaciones cívicas. Murió el 17 de febrero de 1948 en la edad de 59 pero su esposa Emma Flores Casasola continuó el estudio durante muchos años.
