President Kennedy came to El Paso, Texas in 1963. According to El Paso Times archives, Kennedy arrived at Holloman Air Force Base, N.M., on June 5, 1963. After his inspection of White Sands Missile range, he arrived at the El Paso International Airport where he was greeted by more than 10,000 people. After a short political speech, Kennedy and other members of his cabinet, including Lyndon B.
