Esta fotografía aérea fue tomada en 1929 sobre el Río Grande entre El Paso y Juárez. El techo de la torre Bassett y Teatro Plaza estaba en construcción. Se puede ver el sostenimiento de techo de acero en la Plaza. Otros lugares de interés histórico son El Paso High School secundaria, el hospital Hôtel-Dieu, la iglesia católica de St. Patrick, la Primera Iglesia Bautista, la Iglesia de San Clemente, Liberty Hall y el Palacio de Justicia del condado, Texas Escuela de Minas (UTEP), la Propiedad Asarco antes que la pila de altura fue construido, el Templo Scottish Rite, el edificio de la Logia masónica, el edificio Mills y muchos otros en la zona del centro. Rim Road no se había desarrollado, pero Kern Place comenzaba a aparecer en el primer plano. Hay muchos otros edificios y sitios que son de interés especial por el espectador.
