Cada octubre, las calles del centro de El Paso se convierten en lienzos donde los artistas exhiben sus obras maestras hechos de tiza en Chalk the Block (tiza la cuadra). Se presentarán obras de arte con tiza, instalaciones y actividades en los Museos de Arte e Historia. El evento atrae a unas 40,000 personas cada año y aporta alrededor de $1 millón a la economía local.
