Amigo (Sun) Man, (Hombre amigo sol)

Amigo Man (hombre amigo) fue creado en 1974 como una herramienta de publicidad para la Oficina de Convenciones y Visitantes de El Paso, capitalizando los más de 300 días de sol y los residentes amistosos de El Paso. Este radiante y feliz personaje apareció en los folletos turísticos de El Paso y pronto se convirtió en un amado mascota de la ciudad. Aunque Amigo Man fue oficialmente jubilado en 1999, debido a las muchas peticiones, lo trajeron de vuelta en 2006. Hoy continúa presentándose por todo El Paso, Tejas.
