Hermano Amedy Long - El Pas, Tejas
El Hermano Amedy Long (1914-1984) El Hermano Cecillan Amedy (Joespeh Long), se uno a los hermanos Lasallistas durante sus estudios preparatorios en su nativa Nueva Orleans. Durante sus primeros 26 años de carrera educativa, fue maestro en escuelas Lasallistas de Nuevo México, Louisiana, y Tejas (en Cathedral High School 1941-1943). En 1959 el Hermano Amedy regreso a “La cate” donde permaneció los últimos 25 años de su vida. Él fue un maestro destacado de inglés enseñado los más altos principios en la formación de sus alumnos. Tomando la función de consejero para la universidad, abogo en forma muy efectiva para lograr colocar múltiples estudiantes en escuelas de alto prestigio por todo el país.
