Estos grandes conos de piedra caliza en forma de cono eran usados para filtrar agua de lluvia para hacer agua potable. Destiladoras son echas de piedras porosas como arenisca, roca volcánica, o piedra de caliza. Esta Destiladora es de Chihuahua, México, desinada para ser portátil. Se puede mover por la casa, el jardín, o por un patio. La Malla previene a los insectos de echar a perder el agua que se está coleccionando en la jarra debajo la piedra.
