Principe John Magruder
John Magruder fue oficial miliar de carrera que participó en los ejércitos de tres naciones. Fue oficial de la armada norteamericana durante la Guerra Mexico-Americana, general de la Confederación durante la Guerra Civil Norteamericana, y general de la posguerra del Ejercito Imperial Mexicano. Conocido como "principe John" por sus amigos del ejercito, Magruder es mas reconocido por su intervención en hacer creer al general de division George B McClelan que las fuerzas confederativas eran mas fuertes que en realidad y asi retrasar el ataque de las fuerzas federales durante la batalla de la Península en 1862 y también por defender la ciudad de Galveston, Texas en contra del Ejercito y Naval de la Unión a principios de 1863.
