En esta imagen una versión con motor de la vieja mula de carros puede ser visto. El comienzo de la mula sistema de tranvía en la ciudad de El Paso data de comienzos de la década de 1880. En aquel tiempo, la mayor parte del tráfico entre El Paso y Juárez. Hacia el final del siglo los autos de calle eléctrico se establecieron y tranvía eléctrico trayectos ramificado en todas las direcciones, más lejos de la zona centro de la ciudad. Una parte de la reforma del Plaza Teatro es visible en el fondo.
