Segunado Teniente Britton Davis

En la primavera de 1882 , la tercera caballería fue transferida a Arizona para tratar con el Apache . Él y el teniente Charles B. Gatewood y Emmett Crawford fueron asignados a Fort Thomas , cerca de la Reserva de San Carlos Apache Indian . Tenían que trabajar con el agente de civil para mantener la paz y ayudar a los indios se vuelven autosuficientes.
