Airway Gateway- Public Art
Artist: Vicki Scuri This project renovates existing infrastructure, creating a gateway entry to the El Paso International Airport and to Downtown El Paso. The project features images of flight and movement, creating an array of illuminated vertical wind turbines with custom armatures and low illuminated sculptures. The turbines and light sculptures enhance the shoulders of the MSE walls, providing verticality, illumination and movement.
