Inducted in 2017 All District and All City second baseman for Ysleta High School in 1977 Played at Hill Junior College in 1978 and 1979 Earned All Academic, Dean’s List honors at Hill Junior College Earned induction into Phi Theta Kappa Honor Society at Hill Junior College Started as short stop for UTEP in 1980 hitting .377 and set a team record for hitting doubles in 8 consecutive games Umpired from 1976-1983 Assistant Baseball Coach and later named Head Baseball Coach at Eastwood High School Succeeded by 3 former players as Head Baseball Coach at Eastwood High School Returned to duty as an Assistant Coach for Eastwood High School in 2016 and 2017 Known as “Coach Caz”
