Inducted in 2018 Winning Pitcher throwing a 1 hitter in Mexico National Championship Game as an 8 year old Most Valuable Player on Mexico National Championship winning team as a 9 year old 4 Year Varsity Shortstop for Ysleta High School with a batting average over .500 all 4 years Earned multiple All City and All District honors starting his Freshman year Big West Conference Freshman “Rookie of the Year” for New Mexico State University with a .321 BA Hit over .300 Sophomore and Junior years earning All Big West Conference honors as an infielder Top hitter in Division 1 Baseball for the New Mexico State Aggies finishing # 34 in the Nation with a .410 BA as a Senior Earned Big West Player of the Week versus then ranked # 1 Cal State Fullerton leading the Aggies to 2 wins in 3 games going 8 for 12 under Head Coach Elliot Avent Humble, quiet demeanor and high level of accomplishment earned him selection as the overall athlete “Male Athlete of the Year” at New Mexico State as a Senior Finished his New Mexico State career with a Top 10 finish in Game Starts, At Bats, Hits, Batting Average and Total Bases Started Coaching High School Baseball in 2006 at Hanks, then Eastwood and currently assisting at Riverside High School He has been Blessed to have the unwavering support of his entire Family including his 2 daughters Crystal and Salma
