Continuum - El Paso, Texas

Public Art Artist: Patricia "Sabina" Munoz Materials; Venetian Tile With the construction of the Cielo Vista Branch Library in El Paso, Texas, artist Patricia "Sabina" Munoz was commissioned to integrate a public art element to serve as a welcoming gateway and entrance to the library. Continuum is a spherical sculpture designed with custom Venetian tile. Inspired by the daily activities which take place at a library, Munoz designed the sculpture as a metaphorical reference to an individual's continued interest in expanding and developing one's knowledge.
