Inducted in 1991 Graduate of Austin High School Played in local Semi-Pro leagues before joining El Paso Texans in 1940 Played for Wichita Falls in West Texas-New Mexico League in 1941 During World War II played for Lake Charles Louisiana, Birmingham Alabama in Class A and Richmond Virginia Top notch reliever who played against Duke Snider, Lee Anthony, Johnny Jorgenson and Bob Osborn Arm trouble led to his retirement in 1945
