Lobby of Cortez Building

The picture shows the restored lobby of the Cortez building at San Jacinto Plaza. An office building since 1970, it was built in 1926 by the architect firm Trost & Trost. Throughout the years the characteristic Spanish Colonial Revival Style of the building was preserved. One example is the marvelously decorated lobby.
