A Cathedral Family: The Martinez Family: Edmond Jr. just graduated from UTEP (2017). His father is the Principal at the Early College High School in Clint, Texas and is expected to receive his Doctorate degree in 2018. The family tree starts with G.N. Flores (CHS 32) (DeSoto and Laughlin Hotels, Bronco Boot and Tex-Mex Boot Companies) grand father to Edmond Senior, Great Grand father to Edmond Junior,recent graduate from UTEP; Ernesto D. Martinez father to Edmond Senior, grandfather to Edmond Junior. Ernesto's other son is Edward Daniel Martinez (CHS xx) HUMANA Insurance Agent, who's son Evan Daniel graduated from Cathedral (xx) and is now being deployed to the Hawaiian Islands with the US Navy as a Medical Corpsman (HMS-2). Ernesto's son-in-law is Admiral retired Sam Perez (CHS XX). Cousins, Carlos Loweree, Teacher, Senior CHS 40's; Carlos Loweree junior, Owner Big 8 Groceries stores; Luis Loweree (DDS); Ruben Loweree, First Responder, Fireman, son; Ruben Loweree Junior, Teacher; XXXX Loweree Coach Public Schools; Richard Fierro (CHS 54) (Chichuahua, Mexico); nephews Brian (Chico's Tacos), and Paul (CPA) Mora, graduated from Cathedral. Other relatives by marriage are Macedonio (Noni) Navar (52); Nash Navar (CHS 49); Richard Najera (CHS XX); Ruben Flores (CHS XX), and JD Douglass (CHS 55).
