His father is the Principal at the Early College High School in Clint, Texas and is expected to receive his Doctorate degree in 2018. The family tree starts with G.N. Ernesto's other son is Edward Daniel Martinez (CHS xx) HUMANA Insurance Agent, who's son Evan Daniel graduated from Cathedral (xx) and is now being deployed to the Hawaiian Islands with the US Navy as a Medical Corpsman (HMS-2). Ernesto's son-in-law is Admiral retired Sam Perez (CHS XX).
