Cathedral High School - SEED Awards Banquet 28 Jan 2012. Arrivials to the El Paso Diocesan Seed Awards Banquet are teachers and other supporters of the catholic schools in El Paso, Texas. This is yearly event sponsored by the El Paso Catholic Diocese Parochial School Office of Education. Red Apple awards are given to nominees in several categories such as educators, volunteers, out standing alumn,supporters, and out standing teachers from each school. This Year an award was given posthumously to Rey Portillo alumnus from Cathedral High School.Accepting the award was his son AJ Portillo.
