Nenetzin Ramirez Taggart
Nenetzin Ramirez Taggart (1934-2018), known as Nancy, had deep ties to the El Paso area. Her mother attended one of the first graduating classes of El Paso High School, and Nancy attended Ascarate Elementaty and Ysleta High School. Her family has lived in New Mexico and El Paso since her ancestor, Bartolomé Romero, came as part of Juan de Oñate's to settle New Mexico. Nancy became an LVN in 1952 and then got her RN in 1977. She worked as a visiting nurse for many years and helped many families with their loved ones. She had one son, Kevin Taggart. Nancy was fortunate to have traveled extensively and to have lived all over the world. She was a member of St Brendan's Episcopal Church.
