Protectors

This piece is in memory of Andre and Jordan Anchondo who sacrificed themselves to protect their infant child during the horrific event that struck our border city on August 3, 2019. The piece is meant to pay tribute to not only Andre and Jordan, but also to all those who courageously gave their lives to protect and help others that fateful day. The star depicted above the couple (which is made up of 22 points) is a reference to both our Star on the Mountain landmark as well as the number of lives lost on that tragic day.
