Pasos Urbanos: A Photographic Narrative of Downtown Borderland Culture is an exhibition composed of images submitted by artists living within a 150-mile radius of Downtown El Paso, including our sister city Ciudad Juárez, Chihuahua, México. This showcase of photographs documents urban life in both El Paso and Juárez. This includes the bustle of the everyday, the color and joy of local downtown events and festivals, and the celebrated architecture that makes “el centro” a unique and thriving hub of cultural heritage. Image Description: Two men sit under a shaded tree and lean up against a stone wall. The man on the left is wearing a yellow straw hat, with a light blue long sleeve button up shirt. He is holding white plastic bags. His grey hair shows under the straw hat. The man on the right is wearing a white cowboy hate. He is wearing a white long sleeve button up shirt with black detailing on the shoulders, with dark blue jeans. In the middle of the men a blue bottle is placed. The stone wall is different shades of gray. The leaves of the tree provide shade and are a deep green color.
