Crispín Sosa el Güilo (25 octubre 1951 - 7 agosto 1978)
Known by the nicknames El Güilo, he was a Mexican bandit who became a legend in the state of Puebla. More than 50 deaths are attributed to him, including that of an officer of the Federal Highway Police. At the beginning of 1978, he killed the Federal Highway Police officer, Salvador Fernández Martínez, in a duel considered clean. Salvador was a figure appreciated and respected by the governor, which caused the government to position itself against Crispín after the incident, launching a media persecution against him, thus dissolving any previous agreement they had maintained. Crispín's notoriety reached such a magnitude that the Mexican government hired the services of the then existing Cámara de Atlixco agency, known for integrating detectives, hitmen and bodyguards into its ranks. The Judicial Police and the Mexican Army also intervened in his search, a joint effort that ultimately led to his murder.
