The Popular Dry Goods Company

El Popular Dry Goods tienda, corto "El Popular", fue parte de la popular tienda de la Popular Dry Goods Company cadena fundada por Adolf Schwartz. El almacén en El Paso fue inaugurado en el año 1903 y se trasladó a la ubicación de la imagen, 301 Ave San Antonio, en el año 1917. El Popular una vez fue la tienda más grande de propiedad local de El Paso, pero húmeda de la empresa en 1995. El edificio sigue en pie hoy en día.

The Popuar Dry Goods Co. Opened first on the corner of Overland and El Paso,St ; later moved to San Antonio St location being the Masonic Lodge 130 taking up one floor ; later purchased the building in 1907 ; in 1912 -1916 Trost built adding 3 bays on the Texas/ Mesa /San Antonio St location .. The family owned store closed Nov6,1995
