Mary Vance Gwinn, El Paso, Texas - alrededor de 1955

De izquierda a derecha: Ernest Gwinn, Gammon Gwinn III (hijo) y Mary Vance Gwinn (madre) en su hogar. Los tres fueron abogados muy respetados. Mary Frances Gwinn (Vance) se graduó de Texas College of Mines en 1937. Fue honrada por TWC en 1957 como Ex-Alumna Sobresaliente, la primera vez que se otorgaba el premio a una mujer. Fue admitida a la barra federal en 1951. Actuó como gerente de campaña de las campañas de su marido para el abogado de la ciudad y el fiscal del condado.
