Lola Biffil Beasley Dawkins PhD was born 29 December 1913 and died in El Paso, TX 18 March 2016. She was a well respected and generous faculty member of the UTEP College of Business. In 1930 she was valedictorian of her Odessa Texas high school. She received many statewide awards. She also received honors for advocacy for the blind. Her achievements are detailed in a 2017 publication of the Texas Western Press entitled 100 Years of Women at UTEP .
